Health Walk

The Queens embarked on health walk last Saturday. The day coincided with World Heart Day. We joined the Regional Hospital staff, medical students from Ghana Medical School, the Regional Minister and other important personalities to walk a distance of 10km through the principal streets of Koforidua.
HEALTH TALK
After the walk, we gathered at the Apenteng Hall for a Health Talk by Dr. Kusi Appiah from the Central Hospital in K'dua. He warned us about bad eating habits which are harmful to the heart.
We were advised to exercise at least 30minutes everyday to put the heart in 'good shape'. According to him, exercise prevents about 50 percent of diseases.
We gathered at a popular base, had fufu and ebunubunu with crabs, snails and mushrooms. We really had a good time with assorted drinks as well.
RED WINE
....Folks, I just remembered......... The doctor said red wine is good for the heart. Are you 'anti-alcohol????? Please think about this!!! Remember, he said just a little to 'grease' the heart is okey.
